Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. A day in which all people celebrate the Eros. Many of you want to surprise this person who you love. So here I have something for you. Something red, the color of love. Red Velvet Cake and Cupcakes, with fruits of passion and a heartfull decoration.

Cook and bake something beautiful for your loved person and for you. The Red Velvet Cake is simple to make and quick.

Recipe for the dough

- 60g soft butter
- 150g sugar
- 1 egg
- 10g cocoa powder
- 20ml red food coloring
- 2 Pk. vanilla sugar
- 120ml buttermilk
- 150g flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp vinegar

Preheat oven to 170 ° C. Mix butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy. Add the egg and the food coloring. Mix flour, cocoa powder and salt and add alternately with the buttermilk until well blended. First place the baking soda in a cup and then the vinegar, the foaming mixture and stir well to mix the batter. Spread the dough on 24 cupcake tins and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let them cool. The rest of the dough you can make it as a cake bake the doug in form of a heart.

The fillig of the cake can be a whipped cream and some red fruitssuitable for the topic and the day.

The cake has to cool in the fridge for now. After 2 hours, you can decorate the cake with fondant in red and white. You can let your imagination play.

You can buy the Fondant or you can make it on your own. The Fondant is white. But you can color it with food coloring in any color you want. With a cutter you can make beautiful hearts.

For a Fondant you need

- 60 ml of cold water
- 20 ml gelatin powder
- 125 ml liquid glucose
- 15 ml edible glycerol (or pharmacy store confectionery)
- 1 pound powdered sugar and a little more for kneading

Now you can also decorate the Cupcakes with Fondant.
Pranks some butter cream on the cupcakes and put the fondant on it. Without butter cream the fondant does not hold.

You can also cut through into two pieces the Cupcake. The upper half can be cut out into hearts or flowers. prank some whipped cream on it and "close" the Cupcake. Scatter some icing sugar and it is ready.

Have fun my friends tomorrow. Love and be Loved! <3

Cookie Cake

With cookies you can just do so much. The favorite chocolate chip cookies can be particularly easy to process, especially in cakes, creams or as a pie crust. This recipe is made with Oreo cookies and simple little chocolate biscuits.

For the cake base you need 200gr Oreo cookies and 40gr butter. You have to melt the butter well and grind the Oreos in a blender. Then, mix the melted butter with the Oreos and spread in a mold. Bake it brief at 180° C for 10 minutes.

 Recipe for the Cream

- 500 gr. mascarpone
- 200g. castor sugar
- 4 egg whites
- 4 egg yolk

In a bowl mix the egg yolks with the sugar well and add the mascarpone. Beat the egg whites to firm meringue and join the cream slowly. After that it is only to build the cake.

Tip: Put the cream in the refrigerator. But beware! The cream not fixed. It retains a creamy component, that means at the end are not pieces cut out. Therefore, you can also fill everything in small glasses. One for each.

On the cake pie of Oreo cookies put some cream. Than put some cookies filled with chocolate and over it again Cream. As decoration and for more taste you can put some raspberries or cherries in the center of the cake.
And it is done! Taste it, like it!
